Harjinder Kukreja said in his tweet,

Sikh Temples in Manchester offering food and accommodation. They are open for ALL people.

According to the Metro UK, a spokesperson from a Sikh educational charity, 'Everything's 13', said that they were simply doing their duty. He stated,

The Gurdwaras of Manchester offering shelter and more to those impacted by the atrocities at the Manchester Arena are simply fulfilling their remit. Gurdwara means “Guru’s Door” and the Sikhs have historically been a community, people in need could turn to.

He further told the Metro UK,

It is up to modern day Sikhs to ensure this continues and it is heartening to see the younger generation take this responsibility.

After the explosion, many tried to flee to safety from the Manchester Arena. This is when several taxi drivers decided to do everything they could to help these people. According to the Hindustan Times, a taxi driver said,

There were people who needed to find their loved ones. I’ve dropped them off to the hospital. They don't have any money, they’ve been stranded. We should come out and show to those who have done this, that in Manchester, we stick together when it counts.

This attack is being described as the deadliest attack that the United Kingdom has ever encountered. The suicide bomber detonated an explosive device soon after Ariana Grande had finished her stage performance. In the attack, 22 people were killed and 59 others were injured.

According to the Independent, the leader of Manchester City Council, Sir Richard Leese said,

This is an absolutely horrifying incident and our thoughts are with everyone affected, especially those who have lost their loved ones or been injured and traumatised. Manchester is a proud and strong city and we will not allow terrorists who seek to sow let them spread fear and division to achieve their aims.
