Inspiration, motivation, candid conversations and more at Signature Startup Masterclass 2017

It all began in 2016 when 10 celebrities travelled across 10 cities in India with a single mission – to inspire people like you and me to follow our dreams. Their message was clear – the struggle is real, but the rewards for those who dare to steer the course are worth every minute of that struggle. It was time to turn passion into paychecks. The sessions were part of the Signature Startup Masterclass series – a platform where achievers from different walks of life share their passion to paycheck journey. We learnt how filmmaker Anurag Kashyap moved to Mumbai with just Rs 6,000 in his pocket, worked in various stage productions, and even lost Rs 2 lakh of production money that was entrusted to him by Ram Gopal Varma while travelling on a flight to Hyderabad. Varma laughed off the incident saying that even he had lost money and this only meant Kashyap was meant for bigger things. We also learnt how comedian Vir Das worked as a dishwasher, security guard and even at a paint factory in the quest to make his dreams come true.

This year, it’s even bigger with more celebrities across more cities. With some of the biggest names from entertainment, hospitality, and music industries, this year’s line-up of stars is getting candid with host actor Neil Bhoopalam, and it’s all happening at a venue near you. The Signature Startup Masterclass sessions will be held across the country from Mumbai to Guwahati and Lucknow to Hyderabad, and will include an impressive line-up of stars such as Radhika Apte, Ranna Daggubati, Boman Irani, Ranveer Brar, Arshad Warsi, Benny Dayal, Mandira Bedi, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi, Papon, Rahul Subramaniam and Rajkumar Rao. Each session will be followed by a musical/stand-up comedy performance by the celebrities themselves or a local artist.
