While a whole set of generations together struggled to make tabular calculations till the 20th table in school, Chirag Rathi, a 12-year-old boy from Uttar Pradesh, is sending shock waves all across with his skill and rare abilities. Chirag hails from Nakud Tripudi village, Saharanpur district in Uttar Pradesh. His family of four is underprivileged, for his father, who is also the sole money maker, is a daily wage labourer, working at a construction site. Keeping the family's financial condition in mind, the school authorities have decided to provide 100 percent subsidy for Chirag's school fee and also offered to provide books to him, free of cost.

Considering Chirag's amplifying prowess in Mathematics and his skill surpassing way ahead of his friends and even teachers, the school appointed a special faculty member for him so that he can learn the subject till Class XII. Needless to say, Chirag is able to ace it with minimal effort.

In an interview with Times of India, when he asked how he is able to make such gigantic calculations, Chirag said,

"Numbers are fun. The answers just come to me naturally. My peers often accuse me of using a special technique or formula, but I don't have any of that."

Speaking with ANI News, Chirag's father Narender Rathi said,

"I just want my kid to take the name of the nation forward. I will do my best with what I have to make his dream of becoming a scientist come true, I only want him to make the country proud. Though we do not have the necessary financial resources right now, I will definitely go out of my way to make it a reality, be it selling my land or my kidney."
