Why did Jaipur-based Abhimanyu Singh and Shilpi Dua name their startup Hexpressions? Because the word signifies the expression of ideas through honeycombs, which are essentially hexagonal in shape. The bootstrapped startup builds eco-friendly, affordable homes using paper tech. They use composite paper honeycomb, which is a semi-permanent material and made up of paper honeycomb sandwiched between two concrete face panels.

Set up With Lokesh Sharma in 2016, his Jaipur-based startup Fleeca is looking at your tyres - to inspect, analyse, refurbish, recycle. Fleeca, which stands for FleetCare, is a tyre management services company for heavy commercial vehicle fleet owners. It uses radio frequency identification (RFID) tyre tags to track the mileage of a tyre over its entire lifecycle.

I-Life claims that most of its products are priced in the range of $90 to $600, which makes it one of the most affordable electronic brands in Asia today. Founded by Manoj Sharma and Neha Manoj Sharma in 2010, this digital lending platform aims to provide loans to customers in less than 48 hours. Dealsofloan disburses credit for personal, home, and business loans, as well as loans against property.

The startup lets you extract music notes from an audio, and work on it in a tablature editor application. Acousterr, which aims to solve the problem of capturing sound itself, was started in November 2017.
