AIAMA has been working tirelessly towards encouraging the growth of Agarbatti industry and allied products in India.
Basic Information
AIAMA was established in 1949 as MOMA (Mysore Oodabathi Manufacturers' Association) by seven founding members and works for the growth of Agarbatti, Dhoop and allied products in India. MOMA was transformed into All India Agarbatti Manufacturers’ Association during the year 1980 to reflect its growing national character. With the members spread from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and the problems of the industry crossing the state and national borders, it had to perforce approach the Union Government also for the redressal of its grievances. AIAMA has since grown in strength and the present membership spread all over India is around 600. The association has been aggressively working with the industry peers, policy makers and government bodies to address various issues of the Agarbatti and allied industries. Its efforts are not only restricted to the support and growth of Agarbatti industry in the domestic market, but also to drive for demand growth in the international markets.
