Gramophone is building a farming platform that aims to enable farmers to increase their income. The founders are agriculture graduates from IIT and IIM, working on a mission to change the agriculture landscape of the country. Gramophone was started in 2016 and offers agronomic intelligence and the delivery of agri inputs like seeds, crop protection and crop nutrition products. Along with this Gramophone also enables the selling of produce for farmers by bringing traders and farmers on the same platform. Gramophone has established itself as a full-stack platform for farmers in which farmers get personalised farm management at the plot level, crop level and weather advisory on a day-to-day basis. With the use of data-driven full-stack technology solutions, gramophone aims to be able to help farmers in reducing input cost by 20%-30% and increase their yields by 30% to 40%.
