Founded by Bengaluru based Griffith David, Habanero initially started as a restaurant business but moved on to a retailing one selling sauces and dips. Habanero sauces and dips (Peri Peri, BBQ sauce, Sriracha Sauce etc.) are convenient and satisfy the taste buds that crave for international flavours and cuisines. The sauces and salsa are also vegan and gluten-free. Its products are sold on Amazon and BigBasket. The online segment now makes up 25 percent of Habanero’s sales, and is the fastest-growing segment. The brand is looking to add wholesome and flavourful salad dressings and a wider range of tortillas and wraps to their portfolio. Some of its clients include Sheraton Hotels, Big Brewski, California Burrito, freshMenu among others.
