Harness's service provides continuous integration and continuous deployment of applications (CICD), so developers can spin out upgrades rapidly while protecting against critical bugs. Harness.io's focus is to provide CICD-as-a-service, using machine learning to test updates fast and enabling updates to be released quickly. It is designed for enterprises as well as telcos and other network providers. Harness uses machine learning to detect the quality of deployments and automatically roll back failed ones, saving time and reducing the need for custom scripting and manual oversight. The company has, till date, raised $85M of venture capital from top-tier investors Menlo Ventures, IVP, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Unusual Ventures, and ServiceNow Ventures. Some of their clients are Jobvite, Casting Networks, Soulcycle, Nutanix, and Openbank among others.
