Founded in 2019 by Arjun Singh, Co-Founder & CEO along with Saurabh Rohilla, Co-Founder & CXO - Gurugram-based Hopcharge is an on-demand, doorstep, Electric Vehicle charging technology company with a portfolio of technology IP granted both in India and USA. Till 2021, the company was working on Research and Development and product development for building one of a kind technology. It was in early 2022 that Hocpharge launched an usage-based subscription model - HopchargeX in Gurugram and in parts of DELHI NCR for its Ad hoc users. It claims to have served over 100 unique customers, completed 255+ doorstep fast-charging sessions, powered 50K+ zero emissions EV Kilometres, and saved 3.3+ Tons CO2 only from its small-scale early-stage deployment in a very short duration of 3-4 Months. Any individual can download the Hopcharge application, which is available on both android and iOS app stores, sign up on the application, request for a charge from the convenience of their homes by selecting their Electric Vehicle, choose their location, current battery status as well as time of their convenience to schedule the charge. Hopcharge users will be required to pay about Rs 3 to 4 per kilometre, which basically translates ininto Rs 20 per kWh of charging.
