Picxy is aiming to bridge the gap in the stock photo industry i.e. the massive dearth of native Indian stock images. It gathered close to 50,000 pictures six months after its launch. Its target location isn’t restricted to India but encompasses countries of South and South East Asia. It allows photographers to monetize their pictures and connects them with clients in the MSME segment. Some of its customers include The News Minute, Ogilvy, The Better India, and The Logical Indian to name a few. Customers can filter though images on the platform with categories like Lifestyle, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Muharram etc.
