Project Virasat aims to uplift the dying craft forms of India, ensuring they don’t go extinct. They are currently working with two crafts: Usta Art from Rajasthan and Gaurahari Stonework from Uttar Pradesh that are languishing because of insufficient demand avenues, lack of organisational structure and supply issues. Virasat is working with 80+ artisans to provide tailor-made solutions and required training along with establishing sustainable demand channels while creating a strong brand name.
