SheWings foundation focuses on educating women and men on menstrual health and hygiene and eradicating period poverty.
Basic Information
SheWings aims to normalise periods and end the taboos/ stigmas around menstruation. It plans to intervene through educational videos, conducting workshops and donating biodegradable sanitary pads to women every month. They aim at adopting more villages to penetrate into the mindsets of the people where they provide sanitary products every month without fail and educate them about the proper usage, its importance, how to dispose it and how it’s not something to hide. They also plan on organising more camps and conclaves to spread the awareness around menstrual hygiene Management (MHM). Moreover, their sanitary pads are biodegradable, chemical and bleach free ensuring a safe period.
