Basic Information
During the Pandemic and lockdowns, a lot of people started working from home, or rather that’s the de-facto option for them. We observed people working in awkward postures like lying on a sofa, lying on a bed sitting in improper positions on chairs, etc. This combination of work & improper sitting had adverse effects on health and people started experiencing issues like back pain, neck pains, joint pain, musculoskeletal problems, arthritis, restricted organs, and poor blood pressure.
We did a survey and studied the human body, movements, , postures, nature of work, and working hours. We came across the several health benefits of sitting in a Vajrasan position. Also, we consulted many experts from the Healthcare industry and came up with a confluence between sitting comfort & technology – SitFit.
