The Milk India Company delivers pure cow milk, which is raw, unpasteurised, and has zero processing involved. The milk, certified by National Dairy Research Institute of India, is delivered in glass bottles. At present, the startup delivers milk within 10 km of Sarjapur in Bengaluru, at Rs 62 per litre. The brand also uses glass bottles as it is non-toxic and non-reactive, as compared to other packaging materials like plastic and retains nutritional value unlike plastic packaged milk. They also claim that their cows get a nutritious diet consisting of specially grown high quality alfalfa, pennisetum, greens, soya and bran to ensure milk that doesn’t come with harmful chemicals.
