United Efforts is leveraging education through career guidance.
Basic Information
United Efforts is a Section 8 non-profit working to connect the dots between education and profession for those from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Currently, they are working with eight government high schools in Bangalore to ensure 3,000 high schoolers (8th, 9th and 10th children) are made aware of the various opportunities available and the educational qualifications needed to build a career in the same. The intent is for them to make informed decisions about their future education/profession basis their interest, abilities and opportunities. Industry collaboration is key to the success of their program as it will help children firm up their minds and work towards a career in an industry of their choice.
