The Sales Director should be a Sales Leader who can take our revenues from a few millions each month to many millions. The Sales Director will be responsible for generating new business and lead the sales team in the EMEA & APAC region, guiding them through successful acquisition of new business, driving current revenue targets, building capability and providing an exceptional client experience. This role will report to the Head of Growth and will be based in Bangalore, India with opportunities to travel.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A go-getter with an ownership to Revenue quotas by managing sales opportunities from beginning to end including qualification, proposal, final selection, negotiation and closure
Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business.
Manage a Sales team consisting of AE’s (Account Executives), SDR’s (Sales Development Representatives), Sales Engineers and AM’s (Account Manager). Support reps in Pipeline development, Pipeline progression, pitch-craft, developing team skills
Hire and attract talented professionals to join a young and high energy team
Nurture and build on existing business relationships with Account Management teams to create win-win partnerships that contribute to strategic and financial growth
Plan and execute targeted campaigns focussed on strategic and/or high spending customers with an objective of opening doors and establishing new business engagements
Generate the next few million $ business from new accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships into high value engagements.
Cultivate, generate & grow large scale relationships for new accounts
Need to be hands-on with a high number of fast moving opportunities. Ability to zoom into an Opportunity as well as zoom out as required to take any Strategic decisions required
A high performing Sales leader who has consistently achieved revenue targets in a fiercely competitive sales environment
Proven experience of spearheading the process of establishing a repeatable sales process from scratch, including building teams from scratch
Should have experience of selling technology offerings to Technology buyers such as CTO’s, VP Engineering, Product Managers, CEO’s, Developers
Experience of selling into Internationally renowned new age Mobile/Web companies
Ability to sell into large Enterprise accounts by managing a Complex sales process that requires mapping all stakeholders
Lead by example. Make it a point of pride to pursue and close deals and also actively engage in supporting team members to better qualify and close deals.
Fundamental understanding of overall SaaS business model. Ability to manage and grow a strong global Inside Sales function including all aspects of People, Process and Technology
Must be a highly passionate hunter, motivated by a performance based compensation plan
Exposure to international markets and willingness to travel as required
Very good Communication skills both written and spoken
