YourStory is looking at hiring a "Content and Community Manager" for its Campaigns team.Someone who has 2-3 years' experience in managing social media and groups for an online channel.
2-3 years' experience in managing social media and groups for an online channel
proven track record in expanding online communities via deep engagement and ensuring consistent engagement through a variety of media (posts, polls, videos, shared articles, etc.)
a creative style of writing to ensure posts are engaging
knowledge of how Facebook groups are run and relevant social media tools
Responsibilities will include
managing two online groups on Facebook; one comprising women entrepreneurs with a technology-driven business, another focused on startups & small entrepreneurs from across India
engaging with the women entrepreneurs group online and offline to ensure that their views are captured and incorporated
scanning online media daily to find relevant articles and announcements that will be of interest to members of both groups and write posts for select content
engaging members of the group at least on a weekly basis to ensure responses, questions, etc. and increase overall levels of engagement
creating social media content and promotion plans for YourStory's business engagements
working with the graphics and social media teams at YourStory to maximise the member experience and ensure the right messaging gets across
