through his dedication and passion towards the Mithilanchal and his potentials to bring a kind of revolution for Mithila society in context to media and creating awareness among the people as well.

For the utmost passionate dedication towards the development of Mithila society, Mr.Lalit Narayan has been working creatively in the field of Hindi language media for over 10-11 years focusing on social and political issues.

Working as a founder and group editor of Mithila Mirror he has a great contribution in establishing the credentials of Mithilanchal in the society.

Born on 08th May, ‘1984 in the village Mailam situated at Madhubani district in Bihar, Mr.Jha completed his Primary and Higher education in the government school in his village. He completed his Matriculation in the year 1999 from B.Y.J High school, Khaira and completed his Intermediate from J.N.College, Madhubani and passed out as a commerce graduate from R.K.College in Madhubani.

At this point he decided to take a new turn and shuffle his career and so he joined Bharti Vidya Bhawan in Kolkata and from there he completed his diploma in mass communication.

“FAME COMES WITH A QUALITY THAT LIES WITHIN.” This statement can be justified if the work of Mr.Jha would be discussed. When he was in his initial days in his college he was famous as a very good cricket commentator in the nearby areas in Madhubani and in his village also.

In the year 2005 he joined a crime magazine and later in 2007 he joined a national daily “Mayam” and was posted in Kolkata as a special correspondent.

Meanwhile, he is associated with ‘Mithila Samwad’ and many other journals as an independent journalist.

Further, in 2009, he joined ‘Real Watch’ magazine in Kolkata as bureau chief.

In the same year after the news internship from Zee News Kolkata, he worked as a special correspondent in ‘Taza TV’ in Kolkata.

After that he worked with ‘Saubhagya Mithila TV’ channel as an Anchor Producer and as a Bureau Chief in ‘TV24’ in Delhi and joined ‘Khoj India’ as an Anchor, Producer and with the same designation he worked in ‘Har Khabar’ and ‘Times News’.

After all these experiences, on 20th Sep,’12,he joined the media wing of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, as a News Analysis Monitor.

And, as such, as magnificent creativity by Mr.Jha came into existence.He established a news portal that is renowned as “Mithila Mirror” in complete Maithili language.This was not less than a revolutionary beginning for Mithilanchal and further he initiated the beginning of “Mithila Mirror Vishisht Samman”in 2014.The work done by Mr.Jha was so much appreciable that Mr.Jha was awarded with the prestigious ‘Saraswati Samman’ by Dr.Aditya Nath Jha (1st Lieutenant-Governor of Delhi) memorial trust for being the most emerging news editor of Poorvanchal.

Again, in 2016,he was awarded with the prestigious ‘Saraswati samman’ by the Jan Prerna and Malangia foundation for being the best editor in the Maithili Language.

“Bhet-Ghat” a popularly famous programme of Mithila Mirror became very much popular show on YouTube channel can be said as a key benchmark of his work.

He is not only a key Maithili-Hindi journalist but along with this, he is not only a Hindi-Maithili journalist but also striving hard for the establishment of ''Doordarshan'' and "Akashvani" in Maithili language with his efforts and approach to the Govt. of India.

Currently, Mr.Lalit Narayan is working as group editor of Mithila Mirror News and Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd. As a perfect and efficient news anchor he had a strong reputation in the Mithila society who held Maithili language as a pride and honour and objective to recognise Mithila not only as a language but as an emblem for the Mithila society.
