The interiors and construction space in India is predominantly un-organized and hence a platform like CaféNDICA is bringing a major disruption by organizing the sector with technology , while at the same time enhancing user experience in an industry otherwise ridden with time & cost overruns, lack of trust, lack of skilled labour & supply unpredictability .

The interior designing and home decor market in India is estimated at about $ 26 billion, with atleast $10 billion in Top 10 Indian cities alone. It is growing @ 20% CAGR annually.
Founding Team
The founders are the industry experts, each one with more than 5 years of experience , and have successfully run their Architecture and Interior Design firm before this venture. Mitul Rakshit , an IGBC accredited Architect-Planner from IIT Kharagpur, brings to table valuable work experience with multinationals like CPG Singapore and RSP India. Kumar Prafull, also an IIT Alumni has worked with illustrious Architects like Channa Daswatte and Ambuja Realty, with extensive experience in Operations and Project Management. Shashwat Sharma, PGDM- Fore School of Management, brings with him invaluable experience from LG and Airtel. Sourav Anand, B.Tech, KSU, is an enthusiastic individual with unique hands on problem solving ability.
The core team comprises of Tanweer Alam, Badal Murmu, Prashant Aanand and others , from IIT Kharagpur and IIT BHU. Says Prafull - "We aim to make a scalable technology in the field of Interior Design that would solve the hassle of this cumbersome process without any geographical constraint."

An extremely efficient Project Management dashboard with live tracking ensures that customers can get regular updates at the tip of their fingers. With Virtual Monitoring of projects, CaféNDICA has successfully overcome the labour intensive nature of this business.

Their Journey till now
CaféINDICA has been a journey of faith and toil. In a short span of 11 months since it was founded in October 2015, CaféNDICA has made its presence felt in 6 Indian cities, including Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Pune. they recently announced their entry to Tier II cities with Patna launch.
They have onboarded 350+ vendors, manufacturers and contractors in Delhi NCR, 75+ in Bangalore and 35+ in Pune. With this strong groundwork, CaféINDICA can handle projects worth 10 Cr per month, and is looking to expand their team over the next quarter.
The Future Ahead
Technology has made the world a smaller place. With technology at their fingertips, the modern user wants a hassle-free experience in all spheres of life. Inspite of the labour intensive nature of the Interiors Industry, CaféINDICA has been able to increase productivity through technology. It is looking to launch Virtual Interior Designer by March 2017, that will consolidate the processes of Design, Project Management and Surveillance to give to users an exceptional experience.
