Chandra group is a fast growing conglomerate headquartered in Rajasthan. Founded in 1991 by Mr. Lalit Dhoka, Managing Director, the group’s core business is electronics. After strengthening its foothold in the electronic industry, a decade later the group with its entrepreneurial spirit, started rolling out its diversification plans into an array of sectors. Relentless in its pursuit of innovativeness, the group started with Advertising, Event Management and went on to add Hospitality, Communication, Health and Fitness, Software and IT Solutions. And in no time, the group made strides to expand into real estate and manufacturing headed by Mr. Amit Dhoka, and retail by Ganesham retail chain headed by Mr. Ashish Dhoka. Ganesham has 104 showrooms all over Rajasthan and a vast dealer network.

With Chandra Weddings, the group recently spawned into a niche segment of Royal Rajasthani Weddings. With a strong wedding planning team, we are handling weddings not just across Rajasthan but PAN India. We are theist and being the followers of Jainism, continuously aim to learn the depths of the religion and try to instill the same values in our kids. Through our philanthropy work, our family has built two temples in our home town. We also engage in social and religious group activities, donations and organize many food drives/prasadis throughout the year.

About the founder:

Mr. Lalit Dhoka is Chandra's founding director. He grew the company to more than 500 employees and profitability. He continues to share responsibility for Chandra's day-to-day operations with his team. Mr. Dhoka values relations and he keeps motivating his team about the same. He is the mastermind behind all expansion and innovations of Chandra group, and a highly respected and recognized figure by his peers, company seniors and industry leaders.

About Ms. Mudrika Dhoka:

Ms. Mudrika Dhoka, heads Chandra Trio Services Pvt. Ltd. and Chandra Entrepreneurs Pvt. Ltd.

An MBA by profession and raised and studied in the USA. She shifted to India after marriage and joined the family business. She is handling Chandra group’s events and advertising division spread out in Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai. She has been honored by Zee women achievers award for Young Entrepreneur, HOP Style award for Women Entrepreneur and featured in Bharti Hindi magazine for Women All Rounder.

Ms. Mudrika says

“Initially, as a fresher, it was difficult for me to settle in a new country and environment and take up the responsibilities. Yet with the help of my team leaders, and immense support of my family, I was able to excel. As the saying goes, behind every successful man there is a women, I feel behind every successful woman there is a supporting family! I also aspire to gain my PhD in the field of HR, as it has been a childhood dream to gain the title of a Doctor. Being a mother of two and the eldest daughter-in-law in the joint family, it is quite a challenge. But I have accepted it and enjoy juggling between work and homely responsibilities. We would like to expand the business to a level where we can attain an international tie up with an agency abroad. There is a long journey ahead and we hope to create a niche for our firm in the field of public events and royal weddings and contribute to the growth of Chandra Group.”
