The moment we hear the term "Cyber Law" most of us be it startups, people intending to startup and almost everyone other than lawyers feel disconnected and stay away from this term. The fact remains that today "Cyber Law" has become an integral part of our digital life with or without our knowledge. Cyber Law is playing a key role in the startup ecosystem and we all need to alive to this fact. Most of the startups think Cyber Law is only meant for IT Startups, Technology Startups and that's a great misconception to stay in. Is your Startup using email for the purpose of dissemination of information ?, Is your startup using data or information in electronic or digital form ?, Is your startup having a website ? Is your startup having a mobile application ? Is your startup using social media ? Is your startup using Internet ? 

Well, if your answer is yes for any of these questions, then lo and behold, Cyber Law is applicable to your startup. In India we have a Cyber Law named "INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ACT" popular as "IT Act" and this is India's Digital Law and includes a variety of activities in the digital space.
