How to get a High Quality Call Recording while on Call

Contemporary, smartphones are the most essential things which are used by every person to accomplish various different tasks. The importance of it in our life can be measured as it starts with our morning alarm to sending good night messages to our friends and family members on various chatting applications. But the basic requirement of the mobile phone is to talk with any person through connecting a call. We make some calls for normal talk, which are not that much of importance but some calls are very important and most of the people want to record the conversation for the future purposes. Even the phone call recording can be sometimes used in legal statements as important evidence. 

But, recording a phone call is not an easy task to accomplish as we generally think. This is because not only the Android lacks an inbuilt feature for call recording but even the most of the apps available on the Google Play Store do not provide the best crystal-clear audio superiority, while recording any phone call. But, now there are some mobile phones brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Huawei that are providing this feature inbuilt in their smartphones. This is the reason; we put together this guide – to assist you in getting the high quality call recording while on call for future purpose.


Manual Call Recording Through an Inbuilt Feature on the Mobile Phone


If you are using mobile phones of any brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus and Huawei then your smartphone will have an inbuilt feature to record calls. If you also want to record the call through manual call recording feature, then follow the given steps below.

Step 1. First, go to the contact list and select any particular contact.


Step 2. Now, make a call to that person.


Step 3. When the person attends your call, the feature for call recording will automatically be enabled.


Step 4. If you want to record the call, then just tap on the icon and the call will automatically start recording and stored in your mobile phone.


Even the user can record the incoming calls, just by clicking on the icon for call recording after attending the call.


But if your mobile phone doesn’t have the feature of call recording, then the user can opt for call recording application. Well, there are various call recording applications available on the Google Play Store, out of which some are free to install and some are premium. The user can install and use the application according to his need.


Recording Calls with Google Voice App


In many Android based mobile phones, there is Google Voice application installed, which the user can use to record the phone calls, just by having a Google Voice account. The user can make use of this application free without paying a single penny. But the limitation of this application is that the user can only record the incoming calls coming on his mobile phone.


If you want to use Google Voice application, then first you require a Google Voice version. If you are first time using this application and doesn’t have any account then go to Google Voice Website and follow the on-screen instructions given on the website. Once your Google Voice account is set up, the user needs to enable the voice call recording feature on his account, which is very easy. Just follow the given instructions explained below:-


Step 1. First, go to Google Voice Homepage of the respective website.


Step 2. Now, click the three vertical dots to get more options, situated on the left of the screen and then select the setting option from the given menu.



Step 3. Now, scroll down to the Calls section and turn on the “incoming call” options by using the slider feature located on the right of the screen.



Once all the given steps completed, the user can now record the incoming calls by clicking the “4” button on the keypad. To stop the recording, again click the “4” button and it will automatically save in your phone. If you want to access the recordings in the Google Voice App, go to the Menu and click “Recorded’ option.
