The founders come from a classical technology background with experience in blue-chip companies. Krishna Kumar had a fast-rising technology career at GE, but was moved by the agrarian crisis of 2010 to contribute to the agriculture sector. This crisis was not just about farmers’ suicides, but was also brought about by other factors like low agricultural output, soil degradation, uncertainty of weather conditions, pest damage, etc. All these led to lowered agricultural output.
