Most people think Time is like a river, that flows swift and sure in one direction but I have seen the face of time and can tell you they are wrong. Time is like an ocean in a storm, you may wonder who I am and why I say this, sit down and I will tell you a tale like none that you have ever heard.

I am neither a time traveler nor a fortune teller but one who saves time and make it into an ocean and visits that ocean there and back again in my own storm. I may suffer from amnesia, if you ask my friends but if I catch hold of something I'll remember it forever with at most detail and its not a voluntary action, I would say it is my gift and my curse. Ok, enough of the whirl with words let me take you to my ocean and make your time with me somewhat interesting..

I have celebrated my silver jubilee recently, which isn't that bad but everyday all the things happening to me either small or a big deal, good or bad adds up like a drop to my ocean of time. Well you can say if its drop how you made your ocean? What is an ocean but a multitude of drops! When I travel in the storm I am not afraid that I would get sink but all through my voyage I'm smiling even in the deepest trench Oh ghosh! Just look at what you did, how you did and most importantly the persons you were with. I never felt a single sadness in that voyage it is like life is not where you'll be five or ten years from now like people say, its not working your way up to the top backstabbing or honestly :) it is those small small moments which you spend with the people around you and imprinting their image in the water. People used to say its impossible to write on water well I would ask them to think again. For I've imprinted them on my ocean.

That first boat ride with my uncle and cousins, my brother and me fighting with hot wheels car, playing video games, those school vacation where we would rush to our grandparents to be with cousins, those last minute assignment which teachers think it would keep us busy during the vacation, the first B/W computer with MS-DOS, the moment you do something smart and simple when you are young which amazes the elderly, the sports you play with your friends and the hangout you've with them. Everyday crossing familiar strangers and wondering how it would be if they are really familiar to you :)

Now all that I have is my ocean increasing in magnitude but slowly I'm starting to realize that the deep ocean is more lively with full of vibrant color and vivid images even though science say light can't enter that deep!

I wish my voyage to be boundless as the sea where I want to hide my compass somewhere deep and dark with sharks circling that area and lose the co-ordinates where I hid it. But, every now and then I had to come to the shore and take part in reality to carry few more drops back.

When I am in reality and when my heart pumps out all the blood out of it, my brain starts to say "Time is indeed like a river, which flows swift and sure in one direction" but I wish I was ever this young!
