Today let us take some time out to review this product called "Thermory" which is a 100% natural wood maufactured in Europe. This wood is best known for its durability which lasts upto 60years. It is fire resistant, water resistant & also free from any damage caused by insects. This wood is a boon to architecture world.
This product was developed in Europe more than 15 years ago each board is treated with steam and heated at a high temperature using computer controlled system.
Under this process, wood is treated by reducing the moisture content to 6% thereby stabilizing & binding the cellular structure of fibres present in the wood. It protects the wood from warping or shifting because of the moisture content.
This results in excellent durability in the wooden boards by offering them resistance against rots and damage by insects for a long period of 60 years. One of the best feature of this product is its weight. Trust me its is really very very light in weight. Lighter than your Mobile phone. Yes! These wooden boards are absolutely beautiful, (check the pictures attached). The heating process results in darkenening of the wood colour to a deep and rich exotic brown that can be preserved by treating with a UV-protecting oil, or left to weather to a cool silvery grey, depending on your choice
