FAME? Is it Everything after being successful?

A small success in my life being a guitarist that leads to this small story.p.s. small success.

FAME? Is it Everything after being successful?

Well its start after a dream that i saw one day sleeping during the afternoon. It was like I am playing a Les Paul 6 string guitar and a person is standing beside me playing one of the favourite song of his band.

Yes, a small story of a guitarist. You can say a learner Guitarist. I should describe the word Learner because no one in this world is a perfect Guitarist who knows all technical skills of a guitar. Every guitar player must be well known for his/her unique style of playing, And every player learns something while playing and experimenting with it only.

After that dream, my life's changed. I deeply wanted a guitar in my life not to as a play but somewhere in my heart i feel its cool. Days were passing and i was continuously pleading to my family to buy me a guitar. No one agreed to that.

It was my birthday and all of my surprise i was gifted a cool guitar by my bunch of best friends. I didn't know how to hold a guitar, Then step by step i started learning from YOUTUBE. Yes he is the teacher for me. I was so into guitar and playing that i play from dawn to dusk everyday. My playing style increases. Then i started watching our college music club guitar players. They were so good i couldn't speak. That day i decided i will become one of the best guitarist in my college. The procedure started. I gave the audition, get into club and playing was good.

One day our mentor chose me over a well known guitarist and that day i realised i have improved a lot to get into this stage.

Yes this is a story how i became famous in my college as a Guitarist and every person knows i play good according to them.

That eagerness and anxiety in my eyes to hold a guitar

That eagerness and anxiety in my eyes to hold a guitar

Slowly i got to know from everyone that i play well and i should choose music as my career. We played whenever and wherever we got opportunity. Then it all started getting degraded when i saw guitarist from all over India in the Spring Fest of IIT KGP. I lost hope and i was down. I thought how i will compete these people in these competitive world where every people want to become successful.

That FAME and SUCCESS in my college days never lasted when i put my step in this world. I was becoming happy in the four surrounding wall of the college that i play good or something. But this is not at all true when it comes to real competition. You have to be One step ahead of people who are your competitors.

So after getting the FAME, don't forget you are still a LEARNER.

That is all for this story and remember "IF YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE A GREAT MUSICIAN, THE NEXT DAY YOU WILL FACE YOUR DAD IN THAT PATH"

SO KEEP PLAYING AND KEEP MOTIVATING YOURSELF. LEARN EVERYDAY SOMETHING.
THANKYOU.
