Adventures In Love & Life With Leilani

I am a woman writer, entrepreneur, pheromone enthusiast, and mom - here's some of what I learned along the way

A lot of people give me that "what the hell?" look when I tell them that I write for a living. I'll admit, sometimes it's a bit difficult to explain what you do to people who don't understand that people actually do earn a living online. Especially when you write about, and research bizarre topics like natural human pheromones (and testing pheromones), nootropics, and how modern "dating" is really just one huge mind game in the pursuit of popularity.

However, I haven't let it stop me from pursuing my dreams of owning a platform - similar to YS, but maybe geared towards personal interests like dance and urban music.

But anyway - let's talk about it: modern society is forever changing, and even professions that once relied on years of study are slowly becoming "automated" out of existence. So where do we go from here?

I know for my daughter, her creative skills are the most important thing I can nurture. Because machines and computers, no matter how intelligent will never be able create something that they weren't already programmed to do... yes, there is artificial intelligence - but they will never have romantic feelings, be able to appreciate the emotion and passion in someones music, art work, or anything else that humans rely on for the betterment of themselves or expression.

What does this mean? It means that as the world continues to advance in all fields of technology, there will always be a need for human interaction and intervention. Yes, we will be smelling each others natural body odors, developing relationships, and creating things that simply won't be able to be automated - that's not to say that professions like computer nerding, engineering, and other skilled fields will go out of date... but as time goes on, it will become necessary to continually advance our education, as well as creativity to solve the ever increasing amount of knowledge there is available.

As an entrepreneur, it's important to become a very good researcher - there is a wealth of information on the internet, and as it grows at an exponential rate we must also develop ways to filter information and find what we are looking for quickly. Whether it's for health reasons, relationship advice, learning how to develop friendships and social skills - it's all there, and ready to be taken advantage of.

I know for myself, it wasn't easy because as a socially "inept" person for a number of years, being on the internet definitely did not help my love life... but now that I am older, I see that it is precisely what has helped become a more wholesome person, well rounded in a range of topics and able to express myself in a range of different ways.

I realize that this is a bit of a wacky story that goes off in all sorts of directions - but it is a work in progress, much like myself. I am working on becoming a better person, understanding more about life, love, and relationships. If you'd like to keep up with some of the happenings in my life, please follow and I'll keep you updated!

Hi, I am Leilani - I am a writer, researcher, and a mom blogger. I occasionally like to write about my challenges growing up in this modern new era, because I was raised in an "old school" way... but since the internet came out, my fascination for the weird and wonderful has only been watered and grown to epic proportions. I read and research stuff like pheromones, nootropics, modern dating, and societal issues like social media's prevalence on today's youth. Please follow me to keep updated!
