Jitendra Kumar Barik, Asst Director for exhibitions at Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS) explains to SMBStory how the government helps its tribal and rural artisans earn a livelihood.

He says, "ORMAS forms groups among rural and tribal people, impart them with the necessary skills to manufacture several products unique to Odisha, provide them with working capital and sponsor their trips to various state, national and international exhibitions held throughout the year where they are able to sell their products.
