With TallyPrime, Tally Solutions aims to help SMEs automate their business amidst the pandemic

Tally Solutions, the Bengaluru-based business management software provider, recently launched TallyPrime that equips MSME owners and new-age entrepreneurs to enhance their business productivity amidst the pandemic.

While the COVID-19 pandemic-led lockdown saw MSMEs struggling hard to keep up with the digital adoption, as well as the “new normal,” Tally Solutions’ new offering allows users to comfortably manage and grow their business without needing to know the finer nuances of accounting or technology.

TallyPrime Release 1.0 — which will be available globally — has been designed, keeping in mind the security and privacy concerns of its customers. It also comes with several new features, including the new ‘GoTo’ capability feature, that simplifies data entry, and is flexible for several business use cases. The ability to multi-task in the product has also been appreciated by many early preview customers, the company said in a statement.

The product has been designed for scale and will allow customers to easily shift and adopt future releases without any requirement to upskill or learn new techniques, it said.

Speaking about the product, Tejas Goenka, Managing Director, Tally Solutions, said, “For over three decades, we have innovated and created simple and powerful solutions that millions of business owners, professionals, and accountants have used to transform how they run their businesses. With TallyPrime, we will simplify business operations for our existing customers and reach out to millions more in the days to come.”

“The pandemic has not been easy to deal with, especially for the MSME sector, but we are seeing many businesses optimistic about the future, and are continuously working to support them with newer generation technologies to help them run their businesses better,” he added.

In 2018, Tally was a Rs 781 crore company, giving the likes of San Jose-based Intuit Quickbooks, a run for its money. At present, it has two million SMEs paying for its accounting software, and nearly five million SMEs have used the product in the last three decades.

Tally caters to over six million users across industries in over 100 countries. The brand has one of the largest partner ecosystems in the country with more than 25,000 partners associated with it directly to provide customer experience.
