Driving Digital Transformation for Urban India
About the session

As India’s cities create millions of job opportunities that boost the country’s GDP, these are set to grow exponentially. It is estimated that by 2030, cities in India will

generate 70 percent of net new jobs in the country, contribute to around 70 percent of

the GDP, and propel a near four-fold increase in per capita income.

If cities have to reach this milestone, the foremost need of the hour is to ensure rapid urban development. However, challenges around infrastructure and services have threatened to disrupt this momentum.

Several policymakers and stakeholders have roped in GovTech startups to implement innovative tech solutions for fast-tracking urban development.

This webinar will feature discussions around the importance of tech solutions for driving effective solutions for citizen-centric services and boosting the pace of urban development.
