Relevant e-solutions raises a seed round from India Quotient, Startup Superfuel and Binny Bansal

Relevant e-solutions Pvt. Ltd. which owns the newly launched fashion recommendation platform Roposo and gift recommendation platform giveter has announced closure of its first round of funding. The company has raised investment from Anand Lunia led India Quotient, Fashionandyou ex-CEO Pearl Uppal & Gaurav Kachru led Startup Superfuel, and Binny Bansal, co-founder of Giveter aims to bring relevance to users’ product discovery efforts for different situations based on taste, trends, and need while Roposo aims to re-define the way fashion is discovered. The core team includes Avinash Saxena who is the ex-CTO of, Mayank Bhangadia, and Kaushal Shubhank – all B.Tech’s from IIT Delhi.

Today, discovering fashion is confusing for the layman because of a plethora of choices – huge number of styles, brands, fashion trends and trend-setters. This is where comes to the rescue with its personalized recommendation engine. With the belief that style is something very personal, and fashion is what you love –Roposo makes it possible for users to find what they love in fashion, all at one place. Roposo recommends the best products from across the web – all sorted and filtered by users own taste and the latest trends. In addition, it also sorts products by popularity and by recommendations of people who are style-similar to the user. Today there is one online fashion private label being launched in India every week, either by celebrities, manufacturing companies, designers, or other entrepreneurs. Roposo will match users’ taste with great products from all these labels.

"The company started 15 months ago when we felt nobody is catering to a very natural need of people wanting to be thoughtful while gifting. And thus was started with the whole ecosystem reflecting the way people actually think while selecting a gift," says Avinash. The platform serves more than 300,000 users every month and on analyzing decision making of more than a million women who used Giveter, it first appeared that they used the platform in a very different and unstructured way. Many also used it to discover products from themselves. And this is how Roposo came into the picture. "Roposo has had a great start, with 11,000 plus hand-picked products from partners such as Jabong, Shopninteen, Donebynone, Koovs, ASOS, Flipkart etc. at launch," says Avinash.

The startup wants to use the investment to build a rock solid tech-fashion team, foster the product & algorithm, and build mobile apps. Hiring is also the need of the hour and the team is urgently looking for talent to build algorithms, improve UI & UX, and marketing.
