Delhi based SaaS ecommerce enablement platform KartRocket has created an ecosystem of partners to further offer value added services for e-tailers in India. The 5ideas backed company has about 1800 paying customers and 10,000 customers in trial. KartRocket achieved operational break-even and plans to scale to 10,000 paying customers in the coming year. “We have grown more than 5X in 2014 over previous calendar year in terms of revenue. In 2013 we had only 100 paying customers while in 2014 we have added 1700 plus paying stores so far,” says Sahil Goel, CEO and Co-founder of KartRocket.

Though, the company didn’t disclose the revenue numbers, the number can be estimated at around INR 60 lakhs per month (most of its client choose INR 3,500 – INR 4,000 plan and at present it has 1,800 plus customers). Kartrocket clientele primarily includes small and medium sized entrepreneurs, fashion designers, retailer, manufacturers and exporters.

“Over the last three months, we have tied up with more than 15 prominent ecommerce enablement software and services companies to build a platform that provides true unified ecosystem enablement to its merchants,” says Sahil. The company has partnered with companies like Reach Accountant for POS and accounting, Apptuse for developing mobile apps, Kreato for CRM, Vakil Search for company formation and trade mark help, ImagesBazaar for providing stock pictures, dgXsell for providing traffic and Lending Kart for working capital loans.

With these partnerships, KartRocket has become one of the first SaaS based platforms to offer such varied and fulfilling features to its clients. These tie ups will help Kartrocket’s customers to automate their business functions like marketing, billing, purchase, inventory, accounts and taxes at a reduced and negotiated prices.

KartRocket is also aggressively expanding its multi-channel retail capabilities by integrating with Amazon, eBay & Snapdeal. In the past, KartRocket launched automated shipping and order fulfillment platform ShipRocket for all retailers. Since then they have acquired 500 plus merchants shipping around 50,000 orders per month.

In addition to already being integrated with Bluedart, FedEx, FirstFlight, Aramex ShipRocket also added other partners like Delhivery, Ecom Express & DTDC (DotZot) for domestic logistics and UPS & Aramex for International,” adds Sahil. “Indian SaaS industry is growing massively and the only key to grow in this competitive industry is to increase your offerings. We have always aimed to provide a wholesome ecommerce solution to our clients and our associations with partners such as Apptuse, Kreato, Reach Accountant, etc. are a big leap towards that. The strategic reason for tying up with only Indian partners was to grow mutual clientele as well as to provide better support to the clients,” adds Sahil.

Besides all these, KartRocket has re-launched TASKR.IN a micro services marketplace targeted to help Indian SME’s with the very basic problem of product cataloguing, photography, design, online promotion etc. TASKR.INhas been launched in beta and has already got more than 400 freelancers across India offering services around the ecommerce ecosystem in the country.
