This year, TechSparks is bigger than ever before, bringing in key stakeholders and influencers, and also those who are working on powerful new opportunities, and those that failed and will share what they learnt so others may do better. We have investors asking tough questions in their search for the next big disruptor, and mentors who are willing to share real insights and skills with those looking for direction.
TechSparks 2017 will provide a dedicated platform to startups from different sectors to share their stories and their pitches with investors, business leaders, mentors, media and fellow attendees. This will bring honest stories of success, struggle, and failure from people who’ve lived to ‘Make it Matter’, both in India and abroad.
As always, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to network, new people to meet, and old friends to catch up with. We promise that you will leave TechSparks with more – more insights, more friends, more people to collaborate with and above all, the belief that what you do matters.
Every year, TechSparks discovers and unveils India’s best upcoming, high-potential startups as a part of Tech30. YourStory then works with these selected companies and supports them in their journey to scale and succeed. Over the years, many of the startups on our annual Tech30 list have gone on to make their mark on the Indian startup landscape, including Little Eye Labs, Forus, Capillary, Freshdesk, Loginext, and Niki.ai.
Of the 210 startups showcased in the past seven years, more than 100 have raised growth capital after they featured on the Tech30 list. In fact, more than $750 million of growth capital has been injected into these startups after they were part of TechSparks’ Tech30 list.
Applications for this year’s Tech30 is now open.
Who’s coming to TechSparks
Also in attendance at TechSparks are business leaders and large companies that are looking to engage with young startups in their search for innovative ideas and partnerships. TechSparks 2017 is where investors and large multinationals scout for bright innovators with viable ideas. In past editions, government representatives and policymakers have discovered emerging companies and collaborated with them to aid India’s progress.
You’ll leave TechSparks 2017 with useful contacts and strong relationships. You’ll have a better understanding of the business landscape and an evolved perspective from which to look at it. We are all set to make TechSparks matter to you while you build for change, for scale, for impact. Because we believe that whatever you do, you must Make it Matter.
