upliance.ai debuts on Shark Tank India

Makes of AI cooking assistant upliance.ai made its debut on Shark Tank India. It received offers from Peyush Bansal but declined them on the show.

ONDC introduces metro ticketing for Chennai Metro

Open Network For Digital Commerce (ONDC) on Friday revealed its latest foray into mobility. Commuters who use Chennai Metro can purchase single journey and return journey tickets.  ONDC Buyer apps will be immediately also able to offer Metro ticketing for any Metro going live on the ONDC Network.  

"By partnering with ONDC, CMRL is now completely opening up access to its ticketing application service, allowing a wide range of app developers to integrate their apps with the CMRL ticketing system," said Thiru M.A Siddique, MD, CMRL.

UPI is now accepted in France

NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL) in partnership with Lyra, a French leader in securing ecommerce and proximity payments, has revealed that it will now accept the United Payments Interface (UPI) payment mechanism.  

Indian tourists can now book their visit to the Eiffel Tower by purchasing tickets online using UPI. "For the players in the French and European tourism ecosystem, this partnership represents a major advancement and the promise of new business opportunities to come," said Christophe Mariette, Commercial Director of Lyra France.

Edtech firm Emeritus has launched its first-ever Global Executive Immersion: Silicon Valley programme, a course tailored towards C-suite executives. Those enrolling will have access to a six-day and seven-night immersive learning experience.

Accolite, Bounteous announce merger to drive global scale

AI services firm Accolite has merged with innovation firm Bounteous.

The combined company will be headquartered in Chicago with offices across North America, Europe, and Asia, and will be 5,000 people strong, with 3,400+ in India and APAC, 1,200+ in North America, and 400+ in Europe, the companies said in a statement.

Keith Schwartz will serve as CEO and Leela Kaza will serve as Co-CEO of the combined entity.
