Future of Work is YourStory’s initiative to bring together the finest minds redefining technology and product innovation, to build conversation on the new frontiers of technology. Three parallel tracks with 30+ talks and workshops ensure a highly engaging and resourceful day for the attendees.

In the second edition of Future of Work, an initiative by YourStory, we’re happy to bring together the besttech minds to take you through the next frontiers of innovation and technologies. Future of Work 2019 promises multiple niche and deep-dive sessions on technology, platforms, and its impact on business.

  1. Mona Gandhi – Mona is the first female engineer at Airbnb, Apture & Socialmedia Networks. She’s the founding member of the growth team at Airbnb, where she productised company’s performance marketing efforts.

Session topic - Myths of growth

  1. Ravi Garikipati - Ravi is a software industry veteran who’s currently heading fintech at Flipkart to redefine and disrupt financial services in India. Prior to this, he was also CTO and Head of Engineering at Flipkart. As a technology leader and product enthusiast, he brings in vast experience in massive scale cloud infrastructure and platforms, big data processing systems, machine learning platforms, and decisioning systems powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Session topic - How to create an enterprise wide AI journey?

  1. Amod Malviya – Amod is the Co-founder of India’s fastest unicorn Udaan. Previously, he was the CTO at Flipkart where he built long-term technology differentiation for the company. He defined andexecuted the overall technology strategy for Flipkart.

Session topic - Evolving role of engineers in an algorithmised world

  1. Tamaghna Basu – Tamaghna hasmore than 11 years of experience in cyber security and software development - both in product and consulting industries. He has helped various companies and government organisations to build in-house expertise and process to tackle various cyber security issues and incidents.

Session topic - Detecting and Fighting Fraud

  1. Sidu Ponnappa – Sidu builds high performance engineering and product organisations that can build beautiful products at scale. His last startup, C42 Engineering, was acquired in 2015 by GO-JEK Indonesia (now Pt. AKAB). At GO-JEK, he helped grow his 35-member startup team into an 300-member product and engineering organisation across threecountries.

He now serves on the Board of Directors of GO-JEK and Heads GO-JEK India, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Recruiting, and Coaching.

  1. Hemant Khandelwal – Hemant is an experienced leader in building scalable and user-friendly systems. He heads Harness India with a strong business focus and customer obsession in making "hard things easy". He follows hands-on approach in building version 1.0 products.

Session topic - Continuous Delivery: Move Fast and Don't Break Things

  1. Vinodh Kumar Ravindranath - Vinodh Kumar is one of the world's top industry leaders when it comes to search, ranking, and Machine Learning (ML). In the past, Vinodh lead the Google News team, building its core ranking algorithms and the Google Music / Apps Marketplace teams at Google.

Subsequently, he was the CTO and Managing Director of Bloomreach where he built the ecommerce search engine platforms at Bloomreach. He is now applying his strong technology and MLexperience to something he is truly passionate about - helping people find where they belong in their careers as the CTO of Belong.co.

  1. Kumar Rangarajan – Kumar is the Co-founder of Slang Labs, a Voice-to-Action SDK that enables apps to understand and react to their users' voice with a focus on Indian languages. Earlier, he co-founded Little Eye Labs – a performance monitoring and analysis tool for Android developers, which was acquired by Facebook in 2014.

  1. Sandipan Chattopadhyay – Sandipan is the Co-founder and CEO of Xelpmoc, a technology, analytics, and design company, focused on solving problems for the next five hundred million Indians.

Sandipan was among the guys who built Tata’s first website, Tata.com. He co-founded MoneyControl and worked on (building) digital platforms for Unilever, Hyundai, IndiaInfoline, and others, before heading technology for Justdial.

  1. Harish Sivaramakrishnan – Harish is the Chief design officer at CRED where he is responsible for all things design, chasing the dream of building the most beautifully designed credit card management and payment app.

He was formerly Head of mobile transformation for India region at Google, VP of design for Snapdeal, Head of design and front engineering for FreeCharge and User Experience / User Interface architect at Myntra.com.

  1. Rishabh Kaul – Rishabh is the Co-founder of Belong, predictive outbound hiring solution company. He has the visibility of what’s happening in terms of hiring in the technology world like no one. He was one of the earliest team members of Grey Orange,India’s leading automation company.

Session topic- What is data telling us about talent in this digital age

  1. Srikrishnan Ganesh – Srikrishnan is building Freshchat.com - a modern messaging platform for customer engagement and support (Previously Konotor/Hotline.io).

Earlier, he worked in product management roles across big and small organisations, handling products ranging from Video CPE, interactive TV s/w, to Maps, Search, and mobile apps.

  1. Shamasis Bhattacharya – Shamasis is a technical solutions architect, writer, mentor, strategist, and a developer working as a VP at Postman to manage and scale SaaS engineering for millions of users. Earlier, he architected and developed FusionCharts data visualisation library which was licensed by top 75percentof F500 companies.

Session topic - API First Development for Modern Organisations

  1. Janu Verma - Janu Verma is a Senior Data Scientist at Hike. Hiswork is focussed on recommendation and personalisation. Earlier, he was a researcher at IBM TJ Watson Research Center in New York and at Cornell University. His background is in pure mathematics and physics.

Session topic - Solving the input problem of India

  1. Talvinder Singh - Talvinder is one of the few product managers out there who understands business, product vision, roadmap, and can wireframe, design, code, and deploy, end-to-end solutions. With multiple shipped products, he brings a deep understanding of technology, market dynamics, product strategy, and the product development process. He’s the Founder of Pragmatic Leaders, where he’s building an ecosystem to build product managers.

  1. Abhimanyu Singh- Abhimanyu is the Co-founder of Agara Labs where he guides the product, business, and investment strategy. He founded his first startup in 2010 and later served as VP of Product at homestay aggregator, Stayzilla.

Session topic - Developing and managing AI powered products

  1. Sameer Dhanrajani- Sameer Dhanrajani is Chief Strategy Officer at Fractal Analytics. He is a renowned AI and analytics business leader, author, blogger, and TEDx speaker.Sameer has led and managed large AI and Analytics practices and has consulted with several Fortune 500 organisations globally.

Session topic - Analytics and AI: digital transformation tips for the algorithm age

  1. Pravin Jadhav– Pravin heads Paytm's Investment and Wealth Management business - Paytm Money. He is entrepreneurial, passionate, self-driven and loves to build product from scratch and scale them up from zero! In the past, he was Head of Growthat FreeCharge which was acquired by Snapdeal. Before that, he was FounderandCEOofWishberg, which was acquired by FreeCharge.

Session topic - Building from scratch, building for scale

  1. Baishampayan Ghose– BG is a CTO coach and an endurance athlete. In his last stint, he co-founded & headed technology at Helpshift, a company building an in-app customer service solution for mobile applications. Prior to Helpshift, BG co-founded a sport-based social network company and before that he was responsible for designing and creating the air ticket fare and reservation system at one of India’s largest online travel operators. His main areas of interest are functional programming, data-mining, information retrieval, and Machine Learning.

  1. Sishir Kolli – Sishir is an experienced senior product manager with a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry. He headsproduct at Mobile Premier League, one of the fastest growing consumer tech startups in India.
