Sudheesh Venkatesh

Sudheesh Venkatesh is Chief Communications Officer at Azim Premji Foundation. He is also responsible for publications. He was previously the chief people officer at the foundation (2010 – 20). Venkatesh has worked earlier at Tesco as the shared services lead for the People & Payroll programme in the UK and as the head of human resources, India. He started his career with Asian Paints and set up the training function. He has also worked on an assignment on ‘organisation and strategy’ with Booz Allen & Hamilton (now part of PwC). Venkatesh holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering and a postgraduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
