Outbound Sales Executive

Job Description

YourStory is looking for Outbound Sales Executive who would drive new client growth through outbound sales. As a member of the Sales team, you would be responsible for helping build client relations and acquire sales across a variety of different industries. This is an excellent role for candidates having 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Outbound Sales.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. Contact prospective clients by both telephone and email
  • Develop and Manage list for warm and cold leads
  • Identify prospects that fit the target demographic client segment
  • Use the knowledge of ongoing campaigns to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects
  • Up sell additional campaigns as need arises
  • Report weekly sales goals and objectives to team leaders
  • Engage with customers by taking the extra mile
  • Maintain records of all conversations in a database in a comprehensible way
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets

Skill Sets Expected:

  • Previous working experience as an Outbound Sales Executive for 1 to 2 years
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Fearless attitude and a hunter mentality
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
  • High levels of proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
