About the role:

We are looking for a Product Designer or a Senior Product designer (based on experience) to lead the end to end of product design at Yourstory. It’s a high visibility, high impact role in a fast-paced environment which sits at the intersection of UI, UX, user research and design systems.

What does the role look like in the next 6-18 months?

1. This would be a high impact and high visibility role that will be at the center of every product design activity at Yourstory

2. You will independently lead design across projects and platforms - from research to UX to UI to development handover

3. You will be steering stakeholder discussions both pre and post design 4. You will also establish the best practices and design systems which will go on to become the foundation of the product design function at Yourstory 5. Define and maintain the design system of all our products to produce consistent and intuitive user experiences at a fast pace

6. This is an Individual Contributor role to begin with, but based on your performance, can be fast-tracked into a Design leader role within the next 1-2 years

7. You will be be at the forefront of influencing the user journey and experience for millions of users

8. You will work closely with a highly diverse, lean but smart team of product managers to build the next phase of products for Yourstory

What are the key requirements?

1. Demonstration of being a Self starter and driven individual and designer

2. A strong portfolio and demonstrable end-to-end product design experience

3. Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user

research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design and interaction design

4. Prior experience in a Startup is a huge plus

5. Ability to create both - deep, process driven design as well as fast paced designs to meet business objectives from time to time

Operational Dynamics of this role?

1. This role will be reporting to the Product Head at Yourstory

2. Location: Bangalore for the first few months will be preferred, flexibility to go remote can be discussed
