4G to take at least two more years to reach Indian shores

Though Airtel has launched a 4G service in Kolkata and Reliance Telecom is planning to launch 4G in 2015, it will take almost two more years for a majority of Indian consumers to get access to 4G at an affordable price. This is because there are very few users who feel the need for high fast download speeds that 4G offers and also 4G will have a low early adoption rate because of its high prices. Only when 4G is availalble at current 3G rates, will majority of Indian users be able and willing to use it.
