Anthropic reportedly told investors it could generate up to $70B in revenue and $17B in cash flow in 2028, amid rising enterprise demand for Claude and Claude Code, according to The Information.
Anthropic has projected revenue of up to $70 billion ($70B) in 2028 alongside $17 billion in cash flow, according to investor materials reported by The Information.
The company told investors that its best‑case outlook for 2028 includes $70 billion in revenue and $17 billion in cash flow, reflecting continued enterprise demand for its Claude family of models.
In prior information shared this year, Anthropic outlined 2027 revenue scenarios ranging up to $34.5 billion (with a base case of $12 billion), while indicating a path to reduce cash burn and reach break‑even in 2027.
Enterprise focus has underpinned growth
Anthropic has sold access to its models directly and through cloud partners, and its annualised revenue run rate has been nearing $7 billion in recent weeks as the company targets $9 billion by end‑2025 and $20–$26 billion in 2026; it has reported serving more than 300,000 business customers.
The firm, co‑founded by chief executive Dario Amodei, has positioned Claude and Claude Code for enterprise use cases.
Anthropic raised $13 billion this year, putting its valuation at about $183 billion as of September 2025, according to The Verge.
OpenAI, Anthropic’s principal rival, is valued at roughly $500 billion following an employee share sale completed in October 2025.
In recent weeks, Anthropic has cited strong demand from enterprises for Claude and its coding assistant, with sales delivered via API access and cloud partners; the company reported a rapidly rising revenue run rate and customer base.
