Conversational AI platform VerbaFlo bags $7M in seed funding round led by Pi Labs

VerbaFlo, a conversational AI platform, has raised $7 million in a seed funding round led by Pi Labs. The round also had contributions from several other venture firms and global family offices, bringing the total funding for the company to around $9 million.
The funding will allow VerbaFlo to scale its team and continue expanding its international presence.
VerbaFlo was founded in October 2024 by Sayantan Biswas, Abhishek Garg, VP Singh and Dan Smith to address the challenges of fragmented communication that often plagues large property portfolios.
In many cases, property staff must manage thousands of conversations across separate channels such as email, WhatsApp, and phone calls. VerbaFlo simplifies this by creating a single intelligent layer that connects directly with the management systems that operators already use.
“Real estate is one of the largest industries in the world; yet much of its revenue still depends on fragmented communication across channels. We built VerbaFlo to address this by creating a purpose-built vertical AI platform for residential real estate that integrates with the systems operators already use, enabling them to automate and optimise conversations across the resident lifecycle,” said Sayantan Biswas, Co-founder of VerbaFlo.
VerbaFlo employs agentic AI, which can independently perform tasks and make decisions within a business system. For example, it can answer property queries, schedule viewings, and handle maintenance requests without human help. This is part of a movement towards vertical AI, which means software designed specifically for one industry, such as real estate, rather than for general purposes.
Faisal Butt, Managing Partner at Pi Labs, believes this targeted technology is essential for the future of the sector.
“We believe the next wave of value creation in the built world will be driven by applied, vertical AI, a thesis we are executing on in our latest fund, Pi Labs Fund IV,” he noted, explaining the investment strategy.
VerbaFlo says its platform has seen rapid adoption since its launch, powering communication for more than 2 lakh units across 10 countries. It supports conversations in over 200 languages, which helps owners of large portfolios manage diverse resident populations.
The company, which is established in the UK and Europe, recently expanded into the United States. It is also looking at markets in Australia and the Middle East.
