Emergent secures strategic investment from Google’s AI Futures Fund
Google's AI Futures Fund, launched in May 2025, aims to support AI startups with funding, early access to AI models, and guidance from Google experts.
Emergent, a platform that enables users to build applications with autonomous AI agents, on Tuesday said it has received an undisclosed strategic investment from Google’s AI Futures Fund.
The startup, which allows users to create production-ready applications without coding skills or an engineering team, plans to use the investment to expand its talent base, accelerate product development, and scale its platform globally.
The fund, launched in May 2025, aims to support AI startups with funding, early access to AI models, and guidance from Google experts.
Since its launch, the platform has grown rapidly, attracting over 2.5 million users worldwide and achieving an annual recurring revenue (ARR) run rate of $25 million in under five months.
The company intends to continue supporting individual entrepreneurs, small business owners, and creators in building applications without the traditional technical barriers.

Emergent is backed by Lightspeed, Prosus, Y Combinator, Together, and several angel investors. Its focus remains on making software creation more accessible to a broad audience.
