Google releases a free course on building AI agents
Google and Kaggle have made their AI agent training course free for everyone, helping learners build, deploy and understand AI agents.

In partnership with Kaggle, Google has released the learning materials from its popular 5-Day AI Agents: Intensive Vibe Coding Course as a free, self-paced guide on Kaggle Learn.
The course is designed to help developers, students, and AI enthusiasts understand how to build, secure and deploy AI agents using modern cloud tools and natural language prompts.
A course focused on AI agents
Unlike traditional AI chatbots that simply respond to prompts, AI agents are designed to complete tasks with minimal human intervention. They can plan a sequence of actions, use external tools, analyse results and adapt their behaviour while working towards a goal.
Google's course walks learners through the entire process of building these systems, from initial design and development to deployment and security considerations.

The course is available free of charge through Kaggle Learn. Learners need a Kaggle account to access the self-paced modules, which include expert-led sessions, technical whitepapers and interactive notebooks.

The programme encouraged participants to apply their knowledge through capstone projects. Google said more than 12,000 learners actively participated in the capstone phase, resulting in over 6,000 project submissions.

The hands-on approach allowed learners to gain practical experience while building projects they could showcase in their portfolios.
