Whatfix aims 25% revenue from AI products, launches 3 AI agents
Whatfix has been transitioning from a SaaS entity to an AI-first company, and introducing three AI agents is another step in this direction.
Digital adoption platform (DAP) technology startup Whatfix aims to generate 25% of revenue from its artificial intelligence (AI) products, and it has launched some AI agents towards that goal.
Whatfix first introduced its proprietary AI platform, ScreenSense, in February this year, and now it has expanded this portfolio with three new AI agents—Authoring, Insights, and Guidance.
In a conversation with YourStory, Whatfix CEO Khadim Batti said, “We want to get into the AI budgets of companies and are aiming at 25% of annual recurring revenue (ARR) to be AI-first.”

Whatfix's new AI agents are built on ScreenSense's platform and are designed for different kinds of functionalities for enterprises. ScreenSense introduced the features of context and intent, while the newly launched AI agents automate the entire process.
Authoring is primarily focused on content creation and allows for natural language prompts. According to Whatfix, early feedback from its customers has shown around a 30-40% reduction in efforts.
The other AI agents—Insights and Guidance—also come with separate sets of functionalities. Insight is an analytics platform which can provide all the information as a visual summary while highlighting the friction points and recommending the next step. Guidance provides AI-generated answers through short contextual summaries.
According to the Whatfix CEO, Insight has already onboarded 200 customers, while Authoring has around 60. Guidance is relatively new, with around eight customers.
These developments are also bringing that change for Whatfix from a software-as-a-service (SaaS) entity to an AI-first company. It is positioning AI functionalities in its array of products, and its next step will be to build only AI products.
“The launch of AI products will transform us into an AI company,” said Batti.
Today, Whatfix is finding greater penetration of AI in enterprises where their expectation is on a definite outcome based on the available information. The early adopters have been the technology industry, followed by the BFSI and life sciences sectors.
