Basic Information

Desi Hangover is a conscious fashion brand making Kolhapuri Chappals from artisans based in Kolhapur. Their artisans use ethically sourced, upcycled leather to make comfortable, stylish and durable footwear that we call ‘Desis’. Their enthusiastic team of artisans hail from families who have mastered the age-old art of shoemaking. The shoemaking team is a 50-50 partnership between women and men; their women are leaders of several tasks. The leather they use is upcycled from the waste laid off the meat industry, to be discarded into landfills. Their product portfolio has flats, sliders, and loafers.
