Basic Information
Designed to easily scale to meet the needs of small startups as well as large companies with massive amounts of data, DGraph can handle terabytes of structured data running on commodity hardware with low latency for real time user queries. It addresses business needs and uses cases involving diverse social and knowledge graphs, real-time recommendation engines, semantic search, pattern matching and fraud detection, serving relationship data, and serving web apps. In September 2020, the startup announced the launch of Slash GraphQL, a fully managed GraphQL backend service powered by the industry’s first native GraphQL database, Dgraph. With Slash GraphQL, developers click a button and are presented with a /graphql endpoint. They set their GraphQL schemas and immediately get a production-ready backend. Right away they can start querying and mutating data, without any coding whatsoever.
