EcoKaari is a social enterprise based in Pune that UPCYCLES waste plastic using Charkha & Handloom to conserve the environment and enable LIVELIHOODS for rural women & youth. EcoKaari conserves the environment by upcycling waste plastic such as plastic carry bags, food wrappers of chips, biscuits, pulses, flour etc., glittery gift wrappers and old audio and video cassette tapes. What makes them unique The entire weaving process is manual as in NO electricity is used - to enable livelihoods. Also, NO chemicals or heat are used. The products are proudly Made in India. Their aim is to conserve our Environment and enable livelihoods for people from humble backgrounds.
