GemTree is in the process of developing their own core range of branded fruits in order to offer the end-customers the opportunity to purchase fruits that are of absolute top-notch quality and are deliciously healthy and natural. They are working hard to replace the ‘commodity approach’ taken in fruit pre-harvest, post-harvest, transportation and logistics and bring-about a change in mindset to this field. They work directly with growers/ farmers in the Indian as well as International markets to source top-quality fruits and make effective use of technology to keep them fresh and natural. These ‘GemTree’ fruits then make their way through their distribution partners to wholesale markets and retail customers. Their packhouses have a total processing capacity of 10 MT/hour for grading, washing and packing of the fresh arrivals. The fruits they work with are apples, oranges, kiwifruits, and berries.
