Global Skills aims to be one of most respected Social enterprise Ed-tech & HR-Tech platforms in the field of online Industry-oriented Skill education and Recruitment sector for the underprivileged (Blue and Grey Collared) segment of society. The problem being solved is unemployment among the underprivileged youth through development of industry required skills. Its primary focus is to develop industry needed skill courses in the video course content format. Then act as a facilitator to get an apprenticeship or a job for the student. The company will mainly be working on skilling students who can be employed as blue / grey collar workers. Further, Globalskill is a fully automated platform which requires little or no human intervention. Currently the App has 16000 plus downloads and plans to reach 5 million downloads in next 5 years down the line.

Jan | Product Launch

The app was launched with a few video courses. Initially the courses were meant for School students, Women & Youth.

Aug | Founding Team Hired

Rajan & Atul wanted to resolve the challenge of unemployment among the under privileged youth. They thought technology would be the best option to solve it on a large scale. Hence they introduced Globalskills app as Founders.

2020

Jan | Strategic Partnership

We signed up an MoU with TISS-SVE for promoting their B. Voc (Bachelor of Vocational Studies) courses. The objective was to upskill the youth after completion of Online video courses.

Mar | Advisor Onboarded

We onboarded Anurag Jhanwar as an Advisor on behalf of FinTrust LLP to help us in scaling up as well as have a sound financial system.

Sep | Strategic Partnership

We tied up with IDEMI (A Government of India Society), under Ministry of MSME for giving certification for two courses. The certification from a reputed government body will be useful for the students to get employment.
