Roshni Foundation and Charitable Trust works for the development of underprivileged tribal Adivasi children of Zilla Parishad schools in the Dahanu region of Maharashtra since April 2016.
Basic Information
Roshni Foundation and Charitable Trust has adopted seventeen Z.P schools and 2000 students under its fold. It believes in education having a holistic approach, mixing fun and play with modern learning techniques and technology. By providing basic and modern resources, it promotes sustainable quality education which would in turn promote development in areas like health, hygiene, culture, sports, and technology. Its vision is to provide basic and modern resources to promote sustainable quality education and related development areas both for direct impact and their large positive multiplier (health, hygiene, culture, sports etc), in underprivileged rural India. Further, the platform hopes to serve and make sure that through a complete education, these students have the opportunity to make this transition from absolute poverty and a life of deprivation, to a self sustaining dignified life where they have the ability to fulfill their dreams.
